LO 5&6

My citations for my early work were sloppy, to say the least. When I did citations before I tended the just throw them in a citation generator and get whatever came out. I took very little thought in mind into it as I believe that the computer would do most of the work for me. This was also the same idea I had about my local revisions basic editing and stuff like that. I would simply let the computer handle most of it I very rarely proofread most of my work intended to just throw it in spell check and copy and paste whatever came out.  However, as the semester went on I begin to change my philosophy. Instead of simply throwing them in an online citation or spell check source I would actually begin to proofread. I would go in piece by piece and make sure all my sentence structures were okay.  I would have other people read my work as well to make sure my sentence structure was okay and that I didn’t miss anything major and that everything flowed smoothly. I also had the same idea for citations I would have multiple other people check the citations to see if they believed they were correct. While I still do use sources like spell check and citation generators they are not the only source I use. I found it while they are useful tools they are not the end-all-be-all and they can mess up. By having myself reread everything as well as other people I was able to catch errors that before slip through the cracks.
